These Certified Dad Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DadRental platform as a Certified Dad. By applying, registering, or offering services through DadRental, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not participate as a Certified Dad.

1. Overview
DadRental is a platform that connects customers with independent service providers (“Certified Dads”). Certified Dads are not employees of DadRental. You operate as an independent contractor and are responsible for your own work, conduct, and compliance with applicable laws.

2. Eligibility Requirements
To participate as a Certified Dad, you must:
    • Be at least 18 years old
    • Provide accurate and truthful information
    • Consent to identity verification and background checks
    • Maintain an active DadRental account
    • Agree to ongoing compliance with these Terms

We may deny, suspend, or revoke Certified Dad status at our discretion.

3. Verification, Screening, and Background Check Consent
By applying to become a Certified Dad, you expressly authorize DadRental to conduct any verification necessary to evaluate your eligibility and maintain platform safety. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Identity verification
    • Criminal background checks
    • Sex offender registry checks
    • Public records searches
    • Better Business Bureau (BBB) checks
    • Employment or experience verification
    • Review of publicly available information
    • Ongoing or periodic re‑screening
You understand and agree that:
    • DadRental may use third‑party screening providers to perform these checks
    • You may be required to provide additional documentation or consent forms
    • Refusal to provide required information may result in denial or removal
    • DadRental may conduct updated checks at any time during your participation
    • Passing a background check does not guarantee continued approval

By continuing with the Certified Dad application, you provide full consent for these checks and authorize DadRental and its third‑party partners to obtain, review, and store the information necessary to complete them.

4. Independent Contractor Status
Certified Dads are independent contractors, not employees, partners, or representatives of DadRental.
This means:
    • You set your own rates
    • You choose which jobs to accept
    • You provide your own tools and equipment
    • You are responsible for your own taxes
    • You are responsible for your own insurance
    • You control how your work is performed
DadRental does not supervise, direct, or control your work.

5. Use of the Platform
As a Certified Dad, you may:
    • Create a public profile
    • Post service listings
    • Respond to customer inquiries
    • Accept and complete jobs
    • Receive reviews and ratings
You agree to use the platform responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws.

6. Professional Conduct
You agree to:
    • Communicate respectfully with customers
    • Show up on time for scheduled jobs
    • Perform services safely and professionally
    • Only offer services you are qualified to perform
    • Respect customer property
    • Decline work you cannot safely or legally complete
Unprofessional or unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal.

7. Service Listings
When posting service ads, you agree to:
    • Provide accurate descriptions
    • Avoid misleading claims
    • Keep your listings updated
    • Only offer services you can perform safely and legally
DadRental may edit, hide, or remove listings that violate platform policies.

8. Payments & Fees
Payments are processed through third‑party providers such as Stripe or WooCommerce.
You agree that:
    • DadRental may charge platform or transaction fees
    • You are responsible for setting your own rates
    • You will not attempt to bypass the platform for off‑platform payments
    • Refunds or disputes may affect your account standing
DadRental is not responsible for delays caused by third‑party payment processors.

9. Messaging & Communication
You agree to:
    • Use messaging respectfully
    • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate content
    • Keep communication on the platform when possible
    • Not share sensitive customer information
Misuse of messaging may result in suspension or removal.

10. Reviews & Ratings
Customers may leave reviews based on their experience.
You acknowledge that:
    • Reviews may be public
    • DadRental may remove reviews that violate policy
    • You will not manipulate, pressure, or incentivize customers for reviews

Reviews help maintain trust and transparency.

11. Safety & Compliance
You are responsible for:
    • Following all safety guidelines
    • Complying with local, state, and federal laws
    • Maintaining any required licenses or certifications
    • Using appropriate tools and equipment

Unsafe or illegal behavior may result in immediate removal.

12. Account Suspension & Termination
DadRental may suspend or terminate your Certified Dad status if you:
    • Provide false or misleading information
    • Fail a background check
    • Receive repeated complaints
    • Violate these Terms
    • Attempt to bypass the platform
    • Engage in unsafe or unprofessional conduct

We may take action without prior notice.

13. Liability
DadRental is not responsible for:
    • Your work
    • Your actions
    • Damages caused during a job
    • Injuries or accidents
    • Loss of property
    • Disputes between you and customers

You agree to indemnify and hold DadRental harmless from claims related to your services.

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated Terms.
